Theory of the Intersection of Fields

Masses, charges and constants as consequences of a geometry.

A framework in which the parameters of physics are not put in by hand but follow from the geometry of a codimension-one interface — the common wall of three fields — set out by its logic, with the status of every claim stated plainly.

Σ — a codimension-one wall where the three fields meet.

Falsifiable predictions

The framework is built to be tested. Each prediction carries its own judge and can be checked against measurement:

  • Primordial helium Yp = 63/256 = 0.2461 (+0.2σ), from two presence bounds — no temperature, no neutron lifetime.
  • The vacuum share ΩΛ = 2/3.
  • An absolutely stable proton.
  • A minimum black-hole mass of 1.1×10²² kg — no lighter black hole, no primordial-black-hole dark matter in the sub-asteroid window.
  • A sharp threshold in wide-binary dynamics, with its location predicted in advance — ξ⋆ = 2266 AU·M☉−½ — and a test protocol frozen before the data were examined. Executed on DR3: not recovered; awaits DR4.

Alongside derivations of the fine-structure constant (to 0.3%), the Weinberg angle (sin²θW = 3/8 at unification), the galactic acceleration scale a₀ without dark matter, and the algebra of the three forces.

Theory of the Intersection of Fields — A Structured Exposition

Luc Côté · 2026 · preprint (English, with French version)

The complete framework, organised by its logic rather than the history of its construction. It derives particle and cosmological quantities from a small set of measured densities together with geometry, and labels every claim as derived, candidate, or debt — naming plainly what it does not yet derive.

Sharp-threshold modified gravity: falsifiable wide-binary predictions with Gaia

Luc Côté · 2026 · preprint (English & French) · 10.5281/zenodo.22801278

A specific, falsifiable prediction for the low-acceleration regime: a sharp threshold at the front, rt = √A = 0.322 rMOND; a narrow interference peak followed by a dip; and a plateau of γ ≈ 1.80–1.90 set by the local baryonic slope. A pre-registered shape test, frozen before execution, has been run on Gaia DR3: it does not recover the predicted location and awaits DR4.

About

This work is developed by Luc Côté, an independent researcher in Québec, Canada. The framework is offered openly, with its derivations and its open debts set out in full, so that any part of it can be checked or refuted.

The method is its own discipline: every statement is given an explicit status, results are never validated against the data used to calibrate them, and each prediction records what would falsify it. The permanent, citable versions of both works are archived on Zenodo under a Creative Commons Attribution licence.
